Furniture Store Operations, Customer Service, and Facility Manager

Compensation: $3500 - $5000 per month, including bonus, depending on experience and skill level.

Full time Customer Service, warehouse management, and property maintenance position with Blackledge Furniture, Corvallis's oldest and largest home furnishings store. Duties include responsibility for freight processing, furniture repair and re-finishing, in home customer service, warehouse management, and property and vehicle maintenance coordination. We are looking for applicants with prior finish woodworking, upholstery, or furniture finishing experience, as well as a good background in basic building maintenance skills such as electrical, plumbing, etc. Applicants should also have good management, communication, and computer skills and the ability to supervise others, as well as the ability to safely lift items weighing up to 60 pounds. Full time work hours are 8:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., five days per week on a fixed schedule, but other part time schedules may be available.

Basic skill Requirements include:

-Prior management or supervision experience.

-General computer and business communication skills.

-Good understanding of wood working hand and power tools and workplace safety.

-Previous finish wood working, carpentry or building maintenance experience preferred.

-High School diploma and some post secondary education.

-Valid driver's license and good driving record required.

-Able to pass background check, drug screen and DMV check.

-Applicants should have the ability and experience needed to carefully inspect furniture products, and help correct construction and finish problems.

-Good communication and customer service interaction skills required.

-Specific job training in work procedures and job processes will be provided.
