Seeking Loving and Caring Professional Nanny (Stafford)

I’m seeking an enchanting, lively, and reliable nanny to care for my three children in my home. As my care provider, you will play a key role in providing care, intellectual stimulation, discipline, and entertainment for the children. You will also collaborate with the parents to supervise online learning, plan and prepare meals, organize activities and outings, and provide transportation.

Care Providers Duties and Responsibilities

Tend to the general and basic needs of the children while providing supervision to ensure the children’s safety in day-to-day activities

Engage children in age-appropriate activities—including free play, arts and crafts, games, and reading—to encourage the children’s intellectual development

Supervise Online learning and assist with homework

Maintain cleanliness of children’s traffic areas, ie kitchen, living room, bathroom areas, etc.

In case of illness or injury, provide necessary medical attention; for example, transport the child to a doctor or hospital, take the child’s temperature, and administer medications as directed

Be comfortable learning how to care for a toddler with down Syndrome

Create a safe environment for the children by removing hazards and enforcing appropriate boundaries

Transport the children to school, extracurricular activities, social outings, and medical appointments

Perform housekeeping tasks related to the children’s care

Fluent in spoken and written English

Understanding development stages of Down Syndrome toddlers

Prior experience in childcare settings (day care center, nursery, babysitting, nanny)

High school diploma required

Nice to Have

Post-secondary certificate and/or some college preferred

Non-Smoker

Additional Information

This position will between 30-40 hrs every other week. I have three children a 8yr old, 6 yr old and 5 yr old. My youngest has down syndrome so he would need a little more attention.

Pay will be $12per/hr

I will be requesting that anyone accepting this position wear a mask while in my home due to the Coronovirus pandemic.
