Validation Technician

Kelly OCG is looking for an L3 Validation Technician to join their team for a top semiconductor company in Folsom, California. For immediate consideration, email your resume to kim.hewlen@kellyservices.com and apply online.Validation Technician - Folsom, CALong-term ongoing projectMust have USB-C experienceBusiness Impact and Technical Need: 3PE support will involve supporting the USB-C PD controller that will be selected on the platform. This will involve working directly with the vendor to address PD related issues on the platform to ensure this is working correctly on the platform. As 3PE drives vendor PD fixes, we will need to also test these as we bring them into the platform BKC. The CW will be needed to support this testing and high-level triage/debug on PD related issues.Level III Technician Responsibilities:

All Level I requirements.

Edit and maintain test documentation and suggest improvements.

Create new test content with guidance from engineers.

Be able to configure test tools and accurately document the test results.

Perform ad hoc test requests as requested by engineer and fellow technicians.

Solder fine pitch surface mount components for minor board rework.

Utilization of Dediprog tool for programing system FW and BIOS.

Look up procedures and information in platform server libraries.

Debug failure to circuit/lines of code (hardware and software issues).

Technician with Inventory Management Focus responsible for:

All Level II Inventory Management Requirements.

Identifying areas of improvement or risk regarding work tasks responsibilities and make recommendations and/or proposals to the lab manager or lab staff as appropriate.

Interfacing with and informing customers and stakeholders regarding inventory processes.

Required Skills:

Must have USB-C technical work, understanding and experience.

Display through USB will get a priority above basic USB experience.

Meeting face to face with vendors and direct vendor interaction will be required.
