is hiring for a

Manager, Contract Sales & Analysis to contribute to our

Ingram Library Services (ILS) team in

LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. In this role, you will manage the Bids and Contracts functions, contract compliance, ILS Sales/Operations analysis and Key Business Partners. The ideal candidate will have solid managerial experience, finance experience, and/or contracts experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance related field
  • 5 years’ work experience in sales analysis, contractual/bid preparations and/or financial/business analysis
  • 3 years’ supervisory experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce experience
  • Experience using Excel, including pivot tables and Vlookups
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, hires, trains and manages the day-to-day activities of the bids, contracts and project analysis teams.
  • Researches, provides financial and business-related analysis and makes discount/pricing recommendations for bids, contracts, pricing agreements, and Memorandum of Understanding’s.
  • Monitors bid responses for completeness, professionalism, and accuracy.
  • Monitors sales and term compliance on major contracts.
  • Manages all library pricing and agreement renewals as well as the standard pricing for value-added services components.
  • Identifies and implements processes and technologies to improve the overall operations of his/her teams.
  • Establishes and leads the process for ILS budgeting and forecasting. Provides input, trend reporting and feedback for establishing ILS sales and margin goals.
  • Advises bid team on RFPs and formalized pricing agreements in regards to cataloging and processing requirements, customized services and service level expectations.
  • Ensures associate development programs and customer service levels meet expectations.
  • Supports the sales team and provides timely and accurate analytical decision support.
  • Sets team goals and executes strategies to meet deadlines.
  • Develops and executes department operational budget process.
  • Provides analysis of business model and service offerings and makes recommendations for changes.
  • Serves as account manager for Key Business Partners such as ProQuest.
