Manufacturing Design Engineer / Product Developer
Position requires extensive Solidworks drawing and modeling, CAD and previous aluminum, steel and wood manufacturing experience.
Individual must be EXTREMELY organized, able to accurately create, draw and model; plan and elevation customer approval drawings, detail shop drawings including nesting of flat patterns, bend drawings, detailed assembly and sub assembly drawings, final product assembly and installation drawings as well as maintain and update “as builts”. Skills / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent on the job experience
Multi-tasking and ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Product development and design
Preparation of drawing package submittals for Engineering review and stamps
Maintain organized drawing file system to be accessed by shop personnel
Design, calculations, drawings and modeling
Construction of standard & custom large and small scale projects
Review and/or re-design of existing product inventories
Work closely with shop manager & staff on projects
Manage time and projects to achieve time sensitive deadlines
MUST be available when projects require extra time
