TITLE: Fleet and Logistics Associate

REPORTS TO: Controller

POSITION SUMMARY: The primary duties of this position include contacting and coordinating various third-party trucking deliveries along with data entry from different source documents into the ERP system and fleet management system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Research and contact third party trucking companies to schedule deliveries.

Communicate with Sales Team for direct job site deliveries.

Communicate with Customers for deliveries.

Obtain and coordinate proper documentation for deliveries.

Verify pricing and approve invoices from third party trucking companies.

Prepare, compile, sort and route documents for data entry.

Check source documents and completed work for accuracy.

Verify data and correct data where necessary.

Obtain further information for incomplete documents.

Combine and rearrange data from source documents where required.

Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms.

Transcribe information into required electronic format.

Scan documents into document management systems or databases.

Store completed documents in designated locations.

Maintain logbooks or records of activities and tasks.

Coordinate fleet licensing and registration renewals.

IFTA data entry and reporting.

Respond to requests for information and access relevant files.

Comply with data integrity and security policies.

Able to access and print requested reports.

Provide back up support for accounts payable / purchasing during PTO.

Supervisory Responsibilities and Requirements:

None.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma.

Above average computer skills, specifically Excel.

Proficient in relevant computer applications.

Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed.

Knowledge and application of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.

Knowledge and application of clerical and administrative procedures.
