DescriptionWe are working with a food manufacturing company in the San Gabriel Valley who is seeking a strong Administrative Assistant. This position is an ongoing contract and pays up to $17.50/hour, depending on experience.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Managing and inputting data for collection and analysis of metrics and reports

Assisting with and keeping detailed minutes in committees and programs meetings

Assisting with recordkeeping and supporting vendors when they need data ahead of a project and helping to coordinate onsite communication

Assisting with creation and deployment of site level communications

Collaborating with security to make new badges and administer the badge

Ensuring that access control software data is up to date

Assisting employees by providing Safety Shoe and Glasses vouchers

Managing spreadsheet of who has been issued vouchers

Basic qualifications include:

Experience with administrative and data entry work

Strong technical skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and database entry

Ability to work independently and with other teams to accomplish tasks

Manufacturing experience a plus but not a must

Excellent oral and written communication skills

At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred

Data entry experience

Solid computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
