Job Summary
The Good Samaritan Society - Winthrop facility is committed to creating a home for our residents that is much like their own — a welcoming and loving place. Our 32-bed facility is honored to provide exceptional care and services to seniors and others in need in our great little community.
We are hiring a Maintenance Director to join our leadership team to manage and oversee our Environmental Services team and maintenance functions.
Full-time - Day Shift opportunity (on-call for facility emergencies)
Responsible for facilities and grounds maintenance
Performs preventative maintenance on location and equipment - completing repairs as needed or requested
Manage department and staffing budgets
MN Boilers license is required

Job Responsibilities:
Performs preventive maintenance on location and equipment.
Completes repairs as needed or requested.
Keeps various work and storage rooms, public areas and restrooms, garage/ shed, tools and supplies organized and clean.
Keeps garbage removed from building.
Paints, patches or repairs all interior surfaces. Assures all floor surfaces are clean
