assist the Director of F&B in all of the food and beverage outlets
including banquets.The Assistant Food and
Beverage Manager will oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel.
Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring
compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating
procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel.
The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager must have strong communication and
analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful.Duties
include:
Fulfill theshort and long term planning and the management of the Food and Beverageoperations in the front of house.
Support thebudget, marketing plans and objectives and manages within those approvedplans
MaintainF&B sales/marketing programs
On the floor managerial presence
Support thedevelopment of colleagues
Support thehiring process alongside of the F&B Director
Coordinatefood and beverage operations with other hotel departments to ensureefficient guest service
Resolvecustomer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customersatisfaction and quality
Supportprocedures to increase guest and colleague satisfaction
Exercisequality control for both food and beverage
MaintainingHyatt standards of service and ensure their implementation
Performingdaily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulationsand Hyatt Corporate standards
Maintain Communications withDirector of F&B
Coach andcounsel colleagues to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures
Able to understand the conceptand work in a variety of F&B outlets, such as banquets, fine dining,casual, fun and fast paced.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years as F&B or Assistant F&B Management preferred
Wine/beverage/Beer knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
Maintain Upscale/Fine dining standards
Hotel experience required
Wine knowledge level one introductory course a plus
Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader
