The current opening is in the Parks and Recreation Department. Under general supervision, the Light Equipment Mechanic performs major mechanical repair and overhaul on gasoline, electric and diesel powered light vehicles and equipment and performs other work as needed. Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma and three years of mechanic experience repairing and servicing gasoline, diesel or electric powered vehicles and equipment, one year of which includes welding and/or fabrication.
