Quality Engineer

Job Description:AS9100 Rev DPlan and direct activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products: Develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility. Direct workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.Requirements:Candidate must have the following competencies: interpret blueprint drawings in the areas of identifying gage points, evaluating tolerance levels and knowledge of special process requirements. Background in reviewing and approving manufacturing process plans. Ability to trouble shoot manufacturing and / or inspection processes. Perform product / process analysis of cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency. Create and execute corrective action recommendations to management as well as use structured problem solving methodologies. Evaluate process data output to determine process control limits. Minimum seven years as a Quality Engineer and BS Degree required. Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Access, Word and Excel.Customer experience with Boeing is a plus.
