Branch ManagerLocationCA - PetalumaApply NowBenefits:Summary:The Branch Manager position is responsible for the profitable and safe functioning of the branch. The Branch Manager reviews all aspects of branch operations, interprets corporate goals, prepares and executes annual budgets, and plans and implements sales and operational initiatives to achieve profitable business growth. Responsibilities include but are not limited to safety, personnel, facility, inventory, equipment including vehicles, and the overall business results.Essential Functions:The individual must behave consistently with Platt’s Core Competencies; as well as ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Participate in all aspects of hiring new employees. Maintain a safe productive work environment. Maintain a secure facility and appropriate inventory. Ensure properly maintained equipment and vehicles. Provide outstanding level of customer service. Satisfactorily perform all duties assigned by Regional Vice President. This position must be able to delegate operational duties to Assistant Manager. Must be able to train, lead, motivate, and direct all employees and activities and fill in for absent personnel. Must be familiar with all functions performed in the branch. Reliable and regular attendance is required.Other Duties and Responsibilities:Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Knowledge/Experience/Skills:This position requires minimum of one year of Platt branch experience or 5 years of similar industry experience, with demonstrated success involving increasing levels of responsibility. The individual must be sales and service oriented, self-motivated, dependable, possess excellent leadership, and customer service skills. Must have electrical product knowledge and general understanding of inventory management. Must have experience with Microsoft Office and the Web. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred but not required. Business degree is preferred but not required.Certificates, Licenses, Registration:This position requires a valid driver’s license issued by the State of the position applied to with an acceptable driving record and 3 years of personal driving experience. This position requires a forklift certification. Forklift training will be provided by the company as needed.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform successfully the essential functions of this job.
