Fuel/Wood Yard Operator- Heavy Equipment (Fort Drum)

ReEnergy Black River is looking for Fuel Yard Operator at Fort Drum, NY

The position is responsible for maintaining the fuel yard, including the receipt, handling and storage of fuel in a safe and efficient manner; performing preventative maintenance of the fuel handling system and all yard maintenance; performing scale house functions, including talking samples and testing of fuel samples; perform assigned duties in a safe and environmentally responsible manner; reclaim fuel as necessary to support plant operation and other tasks as needed.

Minimum qualifications for this position are high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of experience with operation of heavy equipment, dozers, loaders and other small utility equipment. Candidate must be self-sufficient, a team player and have the ability to work a rotating 12 hour shift schedule with overtime and occasional call-ins. This position for our location on the Fort Drum Military Base.
