Network Administrator

Description Robert Half is looking for an organized, tech-savvy individual to fill the role of Network Administrator at a rapidly-growing firm. If you are success-driven, an organized problem solver, and passionate about ensuring and maintaining a stable network infrastructure, this job may be for you. Supporting the business, you will develop, administer and maintain the network infrastructure by making sure the enterprise systems and related components are secure, have integrity, and are highly available. The software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems you will work with change frequently. Your commitment to ongoing education will be important for staying current and fully informed. This Network Administrator role, located in the Dallas, Texas, area is a permanent opportunity.How you will make an impactAdhering to company policies and procedures to administer the operation of all local area networks / wide area network related services

Troubleshooting and resolving issues regarding local area networks / wide area network, including performance and connectivity problems

Organizing and executing upgrades to network software and hardware

Distributing LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures Requirements - Highly capable of troubleshooting, analyzing and diagnosing issues

Command of Office Administration

Proficiency in networks

Cisco Voice experience

Adeptness in Firewall

Cisco Voice Over Internet (Voip) experience highly desired

Comprehensive knowledge of project management

Demonstrated knowledge of Network Load Balancing

2+ years relevant experience

Knowledgeable of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations

Previous experience with production and on-call environments
