Trauma Fellowship and ResearchSeeking Trauma Fellowship and Research candidate. Is that you?Work location: 800 5 th Ave., Suite 300 Ft. Worth, TX 76104Work hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm but may varyDepartment highlights:Clinical practice is a comprehensive orthopedic trauma practice.

Lead researh physician is a trauma orthopedic surgeon with 20 plus years experience and has more than 100 publications.

Surgeries are performed at a large level II trauma center.

Here’s What You NeedM.D. or D.O. Orthopedics or other health-related field is required.

Clinical background with experience in Orthopedics and/or trauma is preferred

Good communication skills, strong interest in Orthopedic Trauma.

What You Will DoA Trauma Fellowship for physicians and research is responsible for designing, conducting, and managing research studies involving Orthopedic Trauma surgery and care.Lead in the design, administration and monitoring of clinical trials, update and review regulatory and clinical documents, plan and prepare source documents as required

Participation in data collection of clinical outcome studies, tissue biologics studies, cadaveric biomechanical studies, 3D motion analysis studies in the evaluation of orthopedic trauma conditions

Participation in design, review of literature, data collection, synthesis of clinical research studies, writing and editing of manuscripts, and publication of manuscripts

Participation in clinical and surgical training with Orthopedic Trauma Physicians

Participation in application of Orthopedic trauma which may include observation within the clinical area and surgical suite (Observation Only. NO DIRECT patient care)

Participation in planned educational opportunities with sports medicine physicians, physical therapists, biomechanics, Advanced Practice Providers, and other members of the

Orthopedic Trauma research team. These may include educational grand rounds, weekly and/or monthly academic sessions, and journal clubs
