My client in the Chicagoland Area is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to help work on existing products in the Medical Device industry along with future generations of the same product line.

  • Act as SME (subject matter expert) for embedded software development expertise.
  • Work cross frunctionally to bridge extensive system integration experience with microprocessor based hardware and software. Interface with other development groups and technical support groups as a participant or as a lead.
  • Contributes to design verification & validation as part of a team.

    • Strong team player with ability to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities independently.
    Experience in resolving complex technical problems using strong analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with revision control systems, IDEs. (e.g. Subversion, Git, Azure, IAR).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering or related field required along with experience in an embedded programming environment.

    • Minimum five years' experience in embedded design and implementation
  • Experience in Embedded C/ C
  • Experience in a regulated environment is a plus
