Dental Hygienist 3 or 4 days/week (Louisville)

ABOUT THE JOB:

Boulder Valley Dental Center is a 100% fee-for-service, state-of-the-art, 1 doctor, private, general dentistry practice located east of Boulder in Louisville. We are currently seeking an experienced, certified dental hygienist to join our small, dynamic team. Our office takes time to build relationship with our guests, seeing only 1 patient at a time. We offer a friendly, caring work atmosphere, achievable bonuses, 3 or 4 day work week, competitive pay and benefits.

Enjoy 3 day weekends! Current patient schedule is Mon-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm with an hour lunch. We have part-time 3 days/week or full-time 4 days/week available for this position.

YOUR HISTORY LIKELY SHOWS:

Minimum 1+ years experience in a dental practice

Current Colorado Dental Hygiene license

Laser training and certification (or willingness to obtain certification)

We have a well developed, successful perio program: Oral DNA saliva sampling, laser perio treatment options, and PerioProtect trays for higher risk perio patients. The hygienist in our practice treats slight perio cases with laser periodontal therapy, doctor treats moderate to advanced periodontitis with LANAP Periolase.

$45-50/hour depending on experience plus generous benefits package.

COVID 19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS IN OUR OFFICE INCLUDE:

Reception room is closed to patient seating.

Digital pre-screening cell phone questionnaire, temperature check and SpO2 screening BEFORE patient

steps foot in our office.

Patients are required to wear a mask through the office and we ask them to use hand sanitizer before

entering which is mounted by the entry door.

Staggered appointment times to allow for social distancing in the office. Rarely are patients passing one

another in our office.

Frequent disinfection of high touch surfaces in the office.

Aerosol management with HVE, medical grade HEPA filters in every treatment room, closed door treatment

rooms, ULV fogging of treatment rooms with hypochlorous acid, 30 minutes additional treatment room time

for aerosol settling.

PPE provided including N95 respirator or alternative Level 3 mask worn all day (changed at lunch) with

Level 2 mask over Level 3 and changed between patients, Face Shields, surgical caps, washable gowns

changed between every patient and laundered in office, scrubs provided and laundered in office.
