Technological Innovation Team is looking for an Innovation Manager responsible for designing and executing Innovation Center projects in conjunction with the Chief Architect and Technical Innovation Director from contextual research through rapid experimentation and implementation. The team's focus will be on advancing and discovering new ideas or ways of doing things that will improve the internal and external user experience. The ideal candidate for this role will have a high degree of creativity, resourcefulness, sophistication, and the capacity to lead by influencing stakeholders at all levels across the organization. The Innovation Manager must have the ability to make key decisions and perform analyses, which will impact project success and completion. location: Baltimore, Marylandjob type: Permanentsalary: $135,000 - 140,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:As a leader within the Innovation team the ideal candidate will guide project strategy and advises other staff and external partners to accelerate project progress and potential for impact Aligns diverse stakeholders across the Health System on objectives and approaches to complex projects. Instruct others to apply methods of innovation understanding a variety of complex problem spaces, defining opportunities for improvement, and leading teams to scale effective interventions. Leading contextual research and design experiments to quickly test assumptions and validate proposed solutions Working with the health systems leadership to scale and spread effective interventions Leading programmatic projects to improve team culture and performance based on identified areas for improvement Evaluates the clinical and financial outcomes of projects to derive key learning The Innovation Manager is responsible for designing and executing Innovation Center projects from contextual research through rapid experimentation and implementation Identify opportunities for continuous development and improvement of our team, methods, interactions, and project selection and execution Development Experience:- Architecting and whiteboarding applications from start to finish
- Peer review of code for logic, efficiency
- Code documentation review / validation
- Project management software use (Jira) including development of widgets, BI reporting
- Change management experience
- Working with Project Management staff
- Personnel reviews
- Managing a team of 5-6 creative programmers/developers
- Must not micromanage personnel
- Must support developers in their mission to develop
- Must be willing to come on-site weekly to new innovation space
- Must be willing to join calls periodically on nights and weekends to troubleshoot stuff.

- Minimum 10 years of experience
