Abex Distro is looking for drivers to deliver Amazon packages. If you have a service-oriented attitude, are reliable, a team player and possess time-management skills while complying with safety rules and policies, we want to speak to you!

Our station is located in Bristol, CT.

$15 per hour

Abex Distro is a small-business with the backing of a large corporation. The owner is involved in the day to day work and is available for any assistance needed.

General Responsibilities:

Must be at least 21 years old and must have had a valid DMV driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years.

Must be able to safely drive large cargo vans in all weather conditions, and walk up and down stairs as required to deliver packages.

Must attain satisfactory completion of specialized training regarding transportation of goods with special handling requirements.

Must be comfortable using navigation and communication technology including GPS and other smart phone related applications.

Must be reliable, flexible and exhibit a sense of urgency while on the job.

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must be familiar with local environment.

Ability to work well with others as part of a team.

Work Environment

Drives a delivery van up to 10,000 pounds to many customer residences and businesses, climbs in and out of van, and walks up and down stairs as required to deliver packages according to established procedures in all weather conditions

Flexibility is key; routes may vary and may be delayed due to traffic from on road congestion, construction, or other factors

Set core schedule, but there may be adjustments including, additional hours and potential schedule changes depending on time of the year and peak seasons and other factors

Pay: $15.00 per hour
