job summary:- Refer major hardware problems to service personnel for correction. Maintain the Print server. Troubleshoot user printing issues. - Administer Office 365 e-mail and Carbon Black anti-virus systems. - Maintain Acronis and Rapid Recovery backup systems for servers. - Assist in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies. - Administer the access control system. - Track inventory of IT equipment and supplies. - Order equipment and supplies for IT department as needed. - This position has no supervisory responsibilities. location: West Palm Beach, Floridajob type: Permanentsalary: $50,000 - 75,000 per yearwork hours: 9am to 5pmeducation: High School responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Identify and procure the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements. - Help maintain and service Servers, Laptops and Workstations - Maintain the hard-wired and wireless networks. - Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards and printers on user premises. - Load appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications. - Setup and maintain all remote job sites for IT services, including setting up a hardware VPN if necessary. - Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users' requirements - Provide remote and in-person help desk support to end-users. - Coordinate activities with network services and information systems groups. - Provide updates, statuses, and completion information to manager and/or users, via voicemail, e-mail or in-person communication.The essential functions of this role include:
