Experienced Two Year Old/Toddler Teacher (Port Saint Lucie)

Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a full-time two year old/toddler teacher.

Minimum Requirements and Position Summary:

45 hour DCF mandated courses Early Education Associates Degree or CDA (Preferred).

1 Year of experience working with children ages 12-36 months of age.

-Must be comfortable working in a team-base structure and show initiative. Must be loving and have the ability to teach the children in a structure setting, while keeping children under control at all times.

-Must be able to follow-through on areas of responsibility.

-Must be able to create a supportive relationship with students, parents, co-workers, director and owners.

Physical Requirements:

-Observe and respond to children's needs.

-Must be able to supervise up to 10 children alone without supervision or support.

-Must be able to lift children up to 50 lbs. from the floor to waist height.

-Must be able to kneel down to maintain eye contact at child's level.

-Must be able to sit on the floor with the children.

Hourly compensation is based on education and experience.Must be able to pass clearance of Federal and local background screening.
