In this job, you’ll manage a team of professionals in the Edison’s Carrier Solutions (ECS) Billing & Collections Group to oversee monthly invoicing, collections, procurement management, work order management, and material management. You will also be responsible to ensure that all ECS invoices are billed timely and accurately, collection of customer outstanding balances are timely to achieve positive cashflow, provide support to ECS Senior Leaders as well as Advisors on procurement, material, and capital work order support.As a Manager , your work will help connect and power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Manage, train, and develop staff by providing timely feedback, coaching and support including carrying out disciplinary action when necessary.

Responsible for all matter related to Billing & Collections and interact with appropriate stakeholders to ensure smooth operation.

Responsible for all ECS Work Order closing and capitalization processes and procedures.

Responsible for overseeing ECS material management from a financial and accounting reporting perspective and work collaboratively with Field Accounting Organization (FAO) and IT to ensure efficient & effective material management and reporting.

Responsible for overseeing ECS procurement management by partnering with SCE Supply Chain and ECS leaders and Advisors to ensure that goods and services are delivered in a timely manner and meets business/operation needs.

QualificationsThe essentials

Bachelor’s degree.

Five (5) or more years performing billing & collection function.

Two (2) or more years of experience supervising and managing teams.

Five (5) or more years of accounting experience.

The preferred

CPA certification.
