Accounting Manager/Supervisor

In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. The ideal candidate should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. Possessing a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant

Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

Lead and encourage the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met

Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses

Collaborate with FP&A and accounting management to develop relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

Play a key role in system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration of NetSuite Financials

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

Coding Invoices experience

Full Cycle Payroll experience preferred

Experience with Fixed Asset Accounting

Solid understanding of Direct Supervision

Adeptness in Fixed Asset Records

Demonstrated knowledge of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

Deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

General familiarity with Equipment Inventory

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities

Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred

Recent relevant financial experience

Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
