We are looking for people with a certain skill set - with, or without experience. Do you have a sincere interest in helping people connect with services they need in an emergency? Can you remain calm and make quick, sound judgments under pressure? Do you have the ability to multi-task, (talking clearly and intently listening on the phone while monitoring radio frequencies and typing information to relay to emergency personnel)? Are you able to type at least 45 wpm, pass background screening, drug test and can you work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays? If you honestly answered yes to these questions, this might be the career for you and it's one of the few careers that does NOT require a college degree; on-the-job, employer-paid training is provided.
