Medical Equipment Technician (Redding)

NorCal Respiratory has an opening for a Medical Equipment Technician in the Redding area and is seeking a dynamic individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. Primary job responsibilities:

Deliver home medical equipment to medical facilities and patients’ homes.

Set-up medical equipment in patient’s homes and train them on the use, maintenance and safety of the equipment.

Pick-up medical equipment when no longer needed.

Clean, function test and when needed, repair medical equipment.

Perform various warehouse inventory management procedures and protocols.

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues and malfunctions.

Attributes of the successful candidate are:

Technically astute.

Good computer skills.

Excellent people skills.

Ability to lift and carry up to 75+ lbs.

Excellent driving record.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to deal pleasantly, patiently and effectively with others, including geriatric patients.

Detail oriented.

High school graduate or G.E.D.
