Recruiter with 2+ years experience in the staffing industry

Actively recruit, interview, and hire candidates, for light industrial/forklift, clerical accounting/administrative.

Conduct pre-employment screening procedures. Conduct new employee orientations.

Responsible for ensuring all applicant paperwork is complete, accurate and all forms on the checklist have been included.

Posting openings on Craig’s List, or other job boards. Ensure the timely handling of all orders received and verify that all call backs and other standards are being met at all times.

Provide high level of customer service when interacting with customers; i.e.; when taking work order assignments, Q/C checks, placing/assigning temporaries, skill marketing candidates, resolving customer issues etc.

Interview and test applicants to evaluate their qualifications for assignments.

Responsible for customer lead generation from all sources available i.e.; applicants, current temporary employees, customers etc.

Actively recruit temporary employees to maintain a consistent flow of candidates. Seek new methods of recruiting temporary employees and continue to utilize current recruiting sources that have been effective.

Administer the training of temporary employees to upgrade their skills for assignments.

Assign/place qualified temporary employees to customer work orders

Audit and be responsible for proper documentation, signatures, and completion of all paperwork i.e.; applicant process forms, documentation into database.

Be vigilant in the Processing of I-9’s and ensure I9’s are completed correctly, signed and filed properly according to the I-9 requirements.

Input/enter job orders and employee application information into database in a timely manner.

Proactively monitor temporary employee attendance and performance, addressing absenteeism, tardiness and turnover issues with customer and temporary associate.

Troubleshoot to resolve the problems or complaints of customers and temporary associate.

Handle personnel issues such as, coaching and counseling, discipline, and terminations with guidance assistance from management; to ensure quality performance and job satisfaction.

Ongoing communication with client supervisors regarding temporary associate issues, attendance and first day arrival calls.

Follow safety guidelines; and have working knowledge of the Workers’ Compensation process by proactively assisting/observing a senior level Recruiter and/or your Branch Manager, thereby acquiring the experience and expertise to initiate the Workers’ Compensation procedures on your own.

Protect the confidentiality of all customer and temporary associate information.

Maintain customer and temporary associate records to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Document all employee and customer information into database.

Input applications and job orders on a timely manner.

Travel to local customer sites as needed.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) A MUST

At least one year of previous customer service or related business experience. Some basic knowledge of recruiting or human resources from an (office environment, classroom, internship, or as a volunteer).

Excellent communication skills oral and written. Effective problem solver.

Effective interpersonal skills to interact and service both customers and temporaries.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to shift priorities and multi-task within a fast paced environment.

Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment.

Ability to take initiative with minimal supervision/direction.

Ability to influence the opinions or decisions of others (e.g., customers and temporaries).

Ability to retain information (e.g., policies, procedures) or find it as needed.

Ability to access areas where needed people, information or equipment are located.

Ability to understand and accurately apply basic math skills.

Ability to make competent use of work related equipment and materials.

Cooperative, team oriented, patient, calm under pressure, and able to work independently.

Proficient computer skills Word, Excel, Outlook and database.

Requires ability to travel to customer sites in own vehicle, must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
