OverviewQuantiTech is currently seeking an experienced Test Manager (TM) to support our customer in the area of materials testing at Arnold AFB in Tullahoma, TN.ResponsibilitiesThis position will serve as a TM on specific projects and interface with test Customers and/or Sponsors, Test Engineers (TE’s), Test Analysts (TA’s) and the Capability Manager (CM). The TM will also coordinate with Arcs test team to provide cost estimates and schedule information to test customer.Duties will include, but are not limited to: Work as part of a multi-disciplinary government and contractor team to provide test management support to the Space & Missiles Branch High Temperature Laboratory (HTL, aka Arcs) in developmental test project activities for DoD weapon systems. Serve as a Test Manager in performing and/or coordinating program management to support test planning, test cost estimates and tracking, and test schedule, working with team test engineers, test analysts, test operations engineers, and affiliated team members. Lead and/or support periodic reviews for test planning and approvals including, safety review boards, technical review boards and test readiness reviews. Participate in Test Inquiry discussions with customer Coordinate meetings with test team to develop test program ROM estimate Develop Statement of Work (SOW) for test projects Coordinate with test team and customer representative to establish test schedule. Coordinate with safety and security to obtain approvals and authorizations for test Personal and organizational interactions exhibit and foster cooperation and teamwork, enhance customer relations, and actively promote rapport with customers, senior staff, and peers. Communications are clear, concise, and at appropriate level. Utilize resources effectively to accomplish mission. Focused adherence to safety and security requirements in an office- and industrial facility-based environment. Familiarity with test & evaluation planning and processes consistent with DoD acquisition directives and policies is highly desired. Other duties as assignedQualifications Must have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance. BS in Science degree in engineering. Must have high-level knowledge and understanding of project management and test planning derived from educational background and prior work experience. Must demonstrate high-level working knowledge of AEDC test systems. Ability to respond positively and flexibly to significant changes in test focus or direction. A willingness to tackle new challenges and assignments as they arise. Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members, team leaders, customers, and management.Desired Skills: Direct AEDC project management experience. Experience using MS Project, Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Also Oracle WAM, PSFIN and BI.
