CopywriterJob Code 4015Location US - Carson, CA Corporate HQPosition Type Regular Full-TimeWe're looking for an exceptional Copywriter to help develop copy and written content for our global marketing team. The scope of this position extends across all pieces of the marketing mix, including B2C and B2B emails, blog posts, website copy, web apps, product descriptions, packaging, merchandising, campaign launch materials, video scripts, education materials, training manuals, brochures, and more.The ideal candidate has a superb command of the English language, an exceptional ability to see things from the audience's perspective, and a resourceful and collaborative nature. The ability to span a wide range of writing styles is a must; you'll need to switch from more technical training materials to catchy online ad writing in the same afternoon. You'll also need to focus on the forest and the trees at the same time, helping to craft the nuances of a given project while guiding its implementation as part of the bigger picture.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure all our assets have a consistent, compelling tone that is on brand, appropriate for its respective audience (consumer or trade) and free of errors.

Craft and edit compelling copy to drive our innovations and programs.

Help other markets and departments adapt your copy to fit their needs.

Research and develop creative concepts and copy with an eye for strategic intent.

Maintain a consistent standard of quality in all official written company materials, in line with each division’s brand guidelines.

Work closely with designers to implement copy and concept.

Managing assignments to freelancers and translators, in addition to writing/editing copy yourself.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum two years’ experience developing copy and content in a marketing environment where you’ve had to balance a blend of nuanced brand copy with more aggressive direct-selling. Beauty or skin care industry experience a plus.

Expertise in writing for marketing or advertising communications, with an established portfolio demonstrating a flexible range of writing styles and topics.

Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, that can be highly-tailored to a multitude of audiences.

Absolute command of the English language, including all aspects of correct grammar, diction and syntax.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Ability to communicate sometimes complex technical points in an audience-suitable manner.

Ability to story tell, and bring marketing strategy to life with a compelling narrative.

Conceptual creativity to add sparkle and life to all communications.

Works well under pressure, can handle multiple jobs simultaneously and meet required deadlines.

Incredibly detail-oriented and exceptionally team-oriented.

Self-starter with a resourceful attitude – good at asking the right questions and seeking out the information necessary to create copy that shines.
