Equipment Operator (St. Thomas, PA)

St. Thomas is currently recruiting for the position Equipment Operator/Laborer to join our team.

Operate various types of heavy equipment (water truck, bobcat, high lift, sweeper truck, etc.)

Maintain Quarry while adhering to all safety regulations.

Be required to keep all areas of the quarry open and clear of debris.

Assist in the production and crushing of stone

Expected to do general maintenance and laborer work

Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings or fences, using hand or power tools.

Perform pre-crushing inspection of stone prior to going through the plant.

Requirements:

2-3 years’ experience operating heavy equipment

Prior work in quarry preferred.

Equipment Operator Experience preferred

Either High School Diploma (or equivalency) AND prior relevant job experience

Basic Maintenance on Equipment

Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Able to work long hours in outdoor environment.

MSHA Knowledge preferred

This is a full time position with an excellent hourly rate plus benefits (medical, dental, vision, Life, Disability and 401(k)).
