A growing, Virginia-based public relations firm is seeking a part-time administrative assistant. This position will report directly to our firm’s president and involves interacting with faith-based nonprofits while performing the following duties:
Overseeing company databases and reports
Responding to company emails
Scheduling and participating in company conference calls
Organizing digital files
Managing calendars, schedules and spreadsheets
Sending written correspondence and gift baskets
While most of this work can be done remotely, a brief in-person training period would be required. A basic knowledge of writing, grammar and professionalism is essential. The initial paid training period will provide the right candidate with extensive public relations and communications experience. Once the initial paid training period has been completed, a flexible remote schedule can be established.
