Cured Shop - Retail Meat Clerk (Leavenworth)

Cured by Visconti’s is a specialty cured meat retail shop in beautiful downtown Leavenworth, WA that carries all of the house-made salami, sausages and whole-muscle meats (hams, prosciutto, etc) produced in our own USDA production facility. Please apply in person, or by email. 509-888-0424

We are looking for a Retail Meat Clerk to help our team. We take great pride to sample the best of our house made products and strive for guest services and satisfaction.

This position requires organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail. We want all of our customers to take the best meats home packaged with great care.

Basic Qualifications

Communicate clearly and effectively in English

Enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction

Exceptional grooming and hygiene habits

Warm, friendly, engaging, courteous personality

Proactive and prompt

Able to start a task and complete the task within a set time frame

Able to reach, bend and stoop

Able to work in standing position for extended periods of time

Able to climb up and down stairs frequently throughout the day

Able to lift up to 50 pounds as required

Preferred Qualifications

Communication skills

Understands how to tell a story and can learn about the recipes and how the meats are cured

Upholds service standards and proper food handling to the highest regard

Present during peak periods of business

Present during festivals is mandatory

Organizational skills

Attention to detail

Maintains a clean and organized work area

Experience is always a plus
