Junior/Intermediate Mixing Engineer (Part-time) (Shepherdstown)

NEXGEN MUSIC is seeking a driven, passionate creative professional in multiple areas, however, primarily as studio mix engineer to work from our Shepherdstown, WV project studio on a part-time/as-needed basis.MUSIC:Experienced/talented mixing engineer with experience with Cubase Pro (required). You will be mixing tracks as needed to specific requirements and in liaison with others in the team. Must have examples to submit. You'll need to take rough production of software instruments, audio samples/loops and vocals and be able to edit, make changes to enhance the production, and mix everything in Cubase Pro on-site. You will have a demonstrated ability to make creative choices that result in a professional sounding final mix, that is as good as any major label release.Session Engineer. Demonstrated ability and experience in running sessions in Cubase Pro for vocal tracking and/or performance of live instruments.Vocal Producer. Would be great if you had experience in recording and producing vocals to a professional standard, including using Melodyne, vocal plugins/chain etc.ADDED POINTS if you produce and/or write electronic/dance/urban/pop music (all of these not just one or two of these genres).ADDED POINTS if have experience is scoring music for TV and film.VIDEO & BUSINESSExperience with operating video cameras, especially for digital content. On set experience a plus, or having worked/interned for digital creators.Experience with editing and color grading video footage.Experience with lighting, set design, costumes, on set sound capture, etc.BONUS POINTS if you have experience working in the music industry within PR and promotion. SUPER BONUS POINTS if you have worked on successful independent or major label releases for pop artists.It is necessary for you to be local to the Shepherdstown, WV area (ideally within 25 miles).NOTE REGARDING ON-SITE POSITION REQUIREMENT: While we have the ability to send out music for mixing to a great number of professionals who do mixing from their home or work studios, we would like to bring someone into the team on a more permanent basis in the future.OTHER:Job Types: Part-time, Internship.Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour (based on experience and somewhat negotiable).Spot Bonuses may be paid out for exemplary work (at our sole discretion).Benefits: Flexible schedule.Schedule: On call.COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS:
