We’re looking for experienced Network Technicians that love to work in a fast-paced, technology-friendly environment. You will primarily be responsible for configuring, installing and maintaining IT and VoIP systems.
Daily Responsibilities:
On-site IT and phone system install projects including deploying, maintaining, and upgrading phone hardware, servers, and networking equipment
Integrate software and hardware with our clients’ existing networks
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
Remote desktop support
Answer phone calls, open work orders, and log notes for actions performed on jobs
Research and determine which products or services best fit the needs of clients
Communicate effectively with other co-workers to achieve client and company goals
Follow up on all commitments made to clients and co-workers
The Right Fit for Us:
5+ years of experience with routing, general networking, and or VoIP troubleshooting
Someone who is organized and has a great memory. Able to keep notes straight and remember important customer details
Loves to learn. Picks up new tasks quickly and stays current on all product training
Self-motivated. Stays on task with no need for micro-management
Maintains a professional and a positive attitude even in stressful situations
Ability to design, deploy, administer, and troubleshoot some or all the following IT/VoIP systems and
Applications:
Microsoft: Windows 10, Office, Exchange, Outlook, Server, Active Directory Services
3CX
Hardware: Various Hardware Solutions (Servers/Routers/Switches/Storage)
Experience in setting up cloud virtual servers
Network firewalls (SonicWALL and/or Fortinet a plus)
Backup and disaster recovery solutions (On-Premises & Hosted)
Antivirus and anti-malware software
Mobile Devices
MAC OS and Linux
Ethernet and Wireless Networking
TCP/IP switching and routing (ability to capture and analyze network traffic a plus)
Virtualization: VMware, Citrix Xen, Hyper-V
