KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE
Minimum 7-years of experience with complex automation equipment maintenance, tuning and problem solving
Must be an excellent team player and put the team’s success above any individual
Must be well-rounded in plumbing, intermediate electrical, pneumatics and mechanics
Must have experience with automation including setup, maintenance, repair, trouble shooting, fine-tuning,
preventative maintenance program development and operator training
Must be able to operate forklifts and electric carts
Must be an expert with hand and power tools
Must have at least intermediate skills with machining and fabrication
Must have at least intermediate skills with welding
Must be proficient with computers and basic networking
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize complex tasks
Must be willing and enjoy working on your feet and be fully hands-on with equipment all day
Must work well under pressure
Must have excellent active listening and speaking skills
Must have excellent problem sensitivity - the ability to recognize when something is likely to go wrong
Must have excellent inductive and deductive reasoning – ability to develop solutions to problems using limited
information, including forming relationships between seemingly unrelated events
Must have excellent memory – ability to remember information and details about complex activities
Ability to read and understand MSDS sheets and/or other related safety instructions and determine
appropriate PPE equipment and procedures, including use of: gloves, respirators, safety glasses, etc., as
appropriate

Stand, walk and work on equipment for up to 10 hours
Use hands to handle, feel, drive, operate, repair and install complex equipment

Stoop, kneel, crouch, climb
Talk, hear and communicate with management, employees and vendors
Work in hot, cold and/or humid environments, including refrigerated coolers at 33 degrees
Infrequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth
perception
Work within confined spaces, low head height, uneven surfaces, etc.
