Optician and/or Optical Assistant in the Keys (Tavernier)

Private optometry practice in Tavernier, Florida seeking full time or part-time experienced optician for optical sales and basic office activities.

Responsibilities would include explaining frame and lens choices to patients, sales, submitting claims to vision plans, dispensing glasses orders, glasses repairs and adjustments, tracking and confirming orders as well as other basic office duties such as answering phones, helping patients and any and all office needs.

Requirements would preferably include previous experience in optometry as well as computer proficiency, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
