This role will report directly to the HPS Smart Energy Sr. HSE Manager – Americas, with a matrix reporting relationship to the Nebraska City Site HSE Manager. Significant experience preparing and updating site HSE procedures and processes, ensuring alignment to Company requirements. Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations Significant knowledge of Environmental regulations (EPA, DEQ, NDEQ, etc.) NDEE Industrial Wastewater Level 2 certification Conveys information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood. Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision, in a timely manner. Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) or other comparable HSE certification. Team oriented and effective public speaking skills strengths. Significant knowledge of HSE legislation and Management Systems. Some industrial hygiene practices, first aid practices, and HAZCOM. Some experience conducting root cause analysis/incident investigations and reporting. Significant oral, written, IT, and Microsoft Office skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from site Leadership, HSE peers, regulatory agencies, clients, customers and employees.
