Aerotek is hiring Switchboard Operators for a large healthcare company in Indianapolis!This position is a basic switchboard role, where these operators will be picking up the line, greeting the customer, and transferring it to the appropriate department. Calls can range from someone asking about outpatient hours to someone calling in with an emergency that will need to be directed to the emergency line.

250 inbound calls/day

Greets customer via telephone

Handles any and all calls that come through on the hospitals 1-800 line

Answers questions regarding hours, locations, personal, etc.

Transfers emergency calls to ER

Pages physician's on behalf of patients

Requirements:

1 year of steady employment in a call center role where 50 calls are taken/day

High caliber of customer service (professionalism, polite)

Strong job history
