Accounts Receivable and Payroll Specialist

DescriptionAccountemps is partnering with a company in the Manufacturing industry, looking for an Accounting Specialist, focusing on Accounts Receivable. In this role, you will manage full cycle A/R in a paperless environment. In addition to this, you will have exposure to light payroll processing duties. This position offers growth opportunities in accounting and administration.

Manage incoming mail and inboxes, responding to billing inquiries

Create and process customer invoices and credit memos

Post A/R payments

Maintain AR Aging reports and support collections activity (primarily through email)

Process customers’ credit applications

Upload sales transactions to sales tax processing software

Establish and maintain relationships with customers’ AP departments, sales team, managers,

Assist with the facilitation of the processing of bi-weekly payroll

Requirements

1+ year of Accounting Experience required

AA in Accounting or Business Administration preferred

SAP experience is a plus
