JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Manager is responsible for managing and directing the day-to-day operations at the program level, assisting the Senior Regional Director in providing leadership, direction, and administration of program operations. Ensures strategic and operational goals and objectives are established and attained in the context of quality and cost effective service to clients. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ensure regulatory compliance with federal and state standards as well as Cenikor policies and procedures.

Manage staff and facility resources to ensure completion of strategic plan and goals. Monitor program progress to ensure compliance with the strategic plan and suggests new policies and procedures to the Senior Regional Director as needed.

Oversee clinical treatment program ensuring effective administration and all regulatory requirements are consistently met.

Uphold the core principles of Cenikor?s culture and create a positive working environment. Work with the management team to ensure they are role modeling and upholding culture for all team members.

Ensure documentation compliance and timely communication with insurance billing department to get maximum payment on accounts.

Ensure weekly training and observation is conducted and documented with all applicable clinical staff.

Participate in providing an optimum environment for client recovery.

Oversee group process to ensure regularly scheduled group sessions are provided.

Prepare and present facility reports for the Senior Regional Director.

Assist the Senior Regional Director in setting annual staff goals, managed and reported to the Corporate Office on a monthly basis.

Gather information on activities for the monthly facility report and submit report by the 5th business day of each month.

Work cooperatively with the Senior Regional Director, Chief Financial Officer and Business Manager to establish the annual budget for the facility each year. Submit the annual budget to the Senior Regional Director for review, and then to the CEO and the Chief Financial Officer for approval as scheduled. Approve expenditures within signing authority.

Ensure that QA committee meets monthly and email meeting minutes to the corporate office by the 15th of each month.

Communicate critical administration and operational problems or concerns to the Senior Regional Director as well as CEO or Clinical Executive within 12 hours.

Communicate concerns regarding capital expenditures, budgetary or financial matters, etc. to the Senior Regional Director as well as the President/CEO or Chief Financial Officer within 12 hours.

Ensure that the client satisfaction survey is completed the 3rd month of each quarter and submitted to the corporate office by the end of the month.

Participate in weekly phone or in-person meetings with the Senior Regional Director.

Work with the Human Resource Department for staffing, training, employee relations issues, performance evaluations and maintenance of personnel files, documentation and licensure requirements for facility staff.

Ensure completion of Big 5 performance management tool for staff by the required deadlines and use of SMART goals to support annual performance compensation review.

Ensure that all employee disciplinary actions and complaints are documented in compliance with Foundation policies and procedures, with the knowledge and assistance of the Human Resource Department and Senior Regional Director and following local, state and federal and laws.

Report all client injuries to the Senior Regional Director and CFO within 24 hours and report all staff injuries to the Senior Regional Director, CFO and Human Resource Department within 24 hours.

Participate as requested to develop and manage local Advisory Board and quarterly meetings.

Assist in cultivating relationships with new and existing supporters of Cenikor through scheduled meetings and events.

Assist and participate in fundraising activities, including facility tours, public speaking engagements, special events and donor recognition activities.

Maintain strict confidentiality on all client and foundation matters and refer questionable issues to your supervisor.

Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the exempt functions as defined in this job description.

Education:

Bachelor's degree required

Master degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of five years? experience working in detox or substance abuse treatment services with at least one year in a management level position required.

Therapeutic community experience preferred.

Licensure Required:

LCDC required.

LPC preferred.

Valid Drivers License required.
