YOU:

• Are currently attending school
• Have expertise in software including: AfterEffects, Premier, Illustrator, Photoshop, some InDesign and Acrobat
• Have sound experience in social media and editing
• Strong skills in all aspects of motion design, animation, and video editing.
• Knowledge of modern video editing, delivery, and compression techniques.
• Have proven video editing and graphics animation skills, light photo / video shooting skills, as well as light design layout skills
• Are well versed in editing software and social media editing apps
• Are creative and execute projects from start to finish
• Can create a script, tell stories, source content, string content into a well thought out on-brand video/mini clips
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced collaborative environment to support a primarily digitally focused team
• Ability to describe technical concepts to artists, project managers and stakeholders in relatable terms.
• Have the ability to identify a target market and “speak” to that market through the project
• Can learn quickly new concepts and activities
• Have imaginative mind
• High level of enthusiasm, creativity, and initiative
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to getting work done
• Have a proactive go-getter attitude

Portfolio showcasing prior projects is required.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for a Video Editor Intern to join our team, gain hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects, and be part of our tech startup to grow our impact in 2020.

In this role you will:

• Develop digital content using a creative brief as a requirement document
• Work collaboratively with the marketing team on concepts and content
• Create and edit promotional videos for use on social media
• Bring ideas to life in a visually compelling and on-brand manner
• Lead brand and product campaigns online lifecycle, from ideation to deliverable creation and optimization
• Create organic social media content in collaboration with program manager
• Learn to use and understand the key concepts of NEDDIE products
• Assist in marketing and public relations projects
• Tell compelling visual stories using video footage (b-roll and self-shot)
• Prioritize projects and workload to meet business needs and deadlines
• Design media-ready materials, including master campaign visuals as well as production of versioned assets
• Act as a brand expert and holds brand standards high across all projects
• Proactively communicate about project status, overall workload, and deadlines to stay on track
• Manages several projects simultaneously efficiently to meet deadlines and goals
• Stay informed and ahead of digital design/social/website trends, consumer engagement, and competitive landscape.
