Position SummaryActs as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Performs basic skills per hospital/unit guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team.This position will start with required Nurse Tech training classes that are preset, and not flexible.#160; These take place 8 am to 4:30 pm on Wednesday, Thursday the week you start and Monday and Tuesday the 2nd week of employment.#160; We will not be able to consider you at this time if you cannot meet these training requirements.Days of required work for this role will be as follows:Week 1: Fri, SatWeek 2: Mon, TuesWeek 3: Fri, SatWeek 4: Sun, MonWeek 5: Fri, SatWeek 6: Sun, Thurs ulliNumber of Beds: 22ulliPrivate or Shared: Private/li/ul/li/ul#160;ulliPopulation (types of patients/what they can expect):#160;#160;#160;/li/ul#160; #160; #160; #160; #160; #160; #160; #160; Medical overflow unit.#160; #160; #160; #160; #160; #160; #160; #160; Medical: GI bleed, pneumonia, kidney disease, etc. Basic Qualifications: Education - High School Degree equivalent Licenses - Basic Life Support
