Certified Dental Assistant (Syracuse)

Full Time Certified Dental Assistant position available. Join a team that works well together and enjoys it. We provide exceptional customer service. Skills required include: A minimum of 1 yr in the dental assisting, EagleSoft experience, excellent patient education and motivation is as important as providing treatment. You will help facilitate the dentist’s diagnosis and subsequent treatment recommendations. Know what tools will be necessary for a specific patient and procedure will be your responsibility on a daily basis. To make sure that all of the different tools or instruments that will be used for any dental work are cleaned properly and sterilized in order to avoid any complications. Dental assistant duties also include getting everything set up. By having the instrument tray prepared and in the right order can help ensure that the dental procedure goes smoothly and fast. This will help make sure that both the patient and the dentist are comfortable. Preparing the patients for the treatment that they are going to receive is one of the most important dental assistant duties that you will be required to do and to do this in a professional manner that will exceed our patient’s expectations. Inform patients what treatment is required, the benefits of completing treatment, schedules appointments and to welcome new patients to the practice and build rapport with new and existing patients.
