We are looking for a positive, friendly, persistent, experienced, energetic individual to make calls and set appointments for our commercial cleaning business. You will work from provided lists on a computer database to make appointments with businesses in the Bakersfield to Fresno area. Essential to have strong communication and basic data management skills. Ideally you will have B to B sales or telemarketing experience. This is a part time, hourly position, M F, 4 6 hours per day in the 9 -4 timeframe.

Vanguard Cleaning Systems (www.vanguardcleaning.com) is a leader in cleaning medical, industrial, and professional firms, specializing in green techniques and the highest levels of customer service. You will make call from a bright open office. Your primary responsibility is to establish immediate rapport with potential clients, to speak with the key in house Decision Maker typically the office or facilities manager responsible for managing the cleaning function. This might take several calls to the same firm, which requires careful record keeping on the Customer Management Tool (CMT) database. After several calls over the course of days and weeks, you should be able to make an appointment for our sales manager to stop by and make a bid proposal. Meantime, you are calling and re-calling other firms, steadily building your pipeline, and enjoying growth in the commissions which are added to your base pay. The goal is to make a minimum of 1 3 appointments a day, scheduled out over the next week or two, coordinated to minimize the Sales Manager's driving time between appointments.

Good pay ($10 to $15/hour D.O.E.) and generous commission structure for appointments leading to a signed contract and the account is started.
