Andersen AFB Medical Courier (96929)

We are a Federal Government consulting firm that has a contract to deliver medical samples, supplies, pharmaceuticals, optics (prescription glasses, etc. to and from 36th MDG Andersen AFB to U.S. Naval Hospital (USNH) Guam.

We are looking for a courier to provide these services Monday - Friday beginning at 8:30 a.m. Details are provided below:

The contractor shall pick-up and deliver needed/required items, on a daily basis, during normal duty hours of operations and in accordance to the service delivery schedule stipulated in this document. The courier must contact the designated 36 MDG Functional Commander within 1 duty day if items determined to have been lost, damaged, or stolen. The courier must immediately notify and coordinate delivery with the 36 Medical Logistics or Medical Laboratory if timeliness cannot be met, as some medical supplies are temperature sensitive. Strict adherence to the delivery schedule stipulated shall ensure that temperature sensitive samples/medications shall not be affected/damaged.

Services shall be provided on a daily based on the clinic schedule (usually Mon-Fri but subject to change to meet military mission needs). The Service Delivery Schedule is as follows:

Pick-up items daily at 36 MDG NLT 8:30 am

Deliver items/pick-up new items daily at USNH Guam NLT 12:00 pm

Return items to 36 MDG daily NLT 3:00 pm

On the last duty day of every week pick-up from 36 MDG Laboratory NLT 5:15 pm and deliver to USNH Guam NLT 6:15 pm

Requirements:

Courier must have reliable transportation.

Courier must be respectable, courteous, and timely.

Courier will be provided with training (including bio-hazard training/certification) - not dangerous work, but the courier must be aware of what to do if a blood sample spills.

Compensation: $60/day; plus $20 on Fridays for the extra trip.Total: $320/week for services completed.

Background check and drug tests required.
