Construction Coordinator ($17-$21/hr) (Kahului)

(098847)A reputable solar company in Kahului is looking to hire a full-time Construction Coordinator. This role will be responsible for coordinating, organizing, and scheduling various solar projects. Since the Construction Coordinator will frequently communicate project statuses with clients, we're looking for candidates who are highly customer service orientated. This role also requires someone with strong Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm

Kahului, Maui

Pay

$17 to $21 an hour

Responsibilities

Schedule customers and dispatch workers by relaying work orders, messages, and information to work crews, supervisors, and field inspectors.

Document all customer-related conversations.

Advise personnel about traffic problems such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, and other hazards.

Review daily reports for progress updates.

Create reports needed by the construction department.

Report, confirm, record, and update google calendar and projects (personnel absences, leave requests, progress of construction phase, etc).

Coordinate with project managers and procurement agents to ensure equipment is in stock for upcoming installations.

Work with the construction manager on scheduling for subcontractors.

Qualifications

Prior administrative experience coordinating projects and schedules.

Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.

Able to work well with others and collaborate to complete tasks at hand

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and G-Suite.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Basic knowledge of utility applications and permitting a plus.
