Part Time Spanish Teacher (Kalispell)

Kalispell Montessori Elementary is looking to hire a Spanish teacher to work with students grades 1-6 (approximately 45-50 students schoolwide) on spanish language instruction for the 2020-2021 school year (Basic Spanish language introduction, vocabulary building, cultural study, etc.) The instructor should have understanding and knowledge of Spanish language and the ability to work with elementary age students in a structured classroom environment. Groups are limited in size, just 10-15 students at a time. The position times are likely on any two of the following days- Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday, from 1:30-3:05pm (2, 45 minute sessions with a 5 minute transition between classes). Students are broken into age groupings, grades 1-3 and 4-6. The wage is $20 per hour, with one additional hour of prep time per week. The school year goes from Sept.1-June 4. Spanish instruction would begin the week of Sept 21 and go until the last week in May. Kalispell Montessori’s days off/holidays align closely with District 5.
