Beekeeper Assistant $15/hour (Piedmont)

I am hiring one person to assist with harvesting my honey crop. You will need to meet these requirements.

1 We will be social distancing best we can at work. You must have your own vehicle that you will drive along to the beehive locations. I will pay a daily vehicle fee to you for gas etc. Total miles is approx 20/day. We drive into pastures and grasslands so a pickup would be better. If you dont have a vehicle, dont apply.

2 You will need to wear long jeans and some type of boots that come well above your ankles. A ball cap is suggested to keep the bee veil away from your face to avoid stings.

3 If you are allergic to bees or wasps or have lots of allergies dont apply.

4 If you are allergic to hard work dont apply. You must be able to lift bee boxes weighing up to 80 lbs all day and stack them.

5 We are working all labor day weekend so if you cantdont apply. This is a temp job for sept and part of oct.

You need to bring a lunch and plenty of water. I provide state of the art beesuits and gloves. Yes you will get stung anyway. Text me for details.
