Shop Foreman (Milton, VT)

Bellavance Trucking is looking for a qualified shop Foreman in the Milton, VT area. Qualifications and Requirements include but are not limited to:

∙ Plan, organize, and direct functions and activities related to the procurement, servicing, operation, maintenance, repair, and disposition of company vehicles.

∙ Monitor, evaluate and determine priority of vehicle maintenance, servicing and repair projects utilizing preventative maintenance program; review the work of mechanics and other maintenance personnel to assure compliance with established standards, guidelines, and procedures; direct off-site maintenance and repair, and track warranty repairs.

∙ Extensive knowledge and experience with heavy duty trucks and trailers,

∙ Participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and programs to enhance financial effectiveness and operation efficiency of vehicles.

∙ Respond to inquiries, resolve issues and conflicts, and provide detailed and technical information regarding related laws, codes, and regulations.

∙ Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel; interview and select employees and facilitate disciplinary actions when necessary. This position will report to an executive officer and may have direct reports including: a fleet manager and/or fleet coordinator and shop foremen.

∙ A strong work ethic and the ability to work with limited supervision by managing time appropriately and working well with others.
