Systems Engineering Center is seeking a Lead RF Metrology Analysts with domain knowledge in Radars and RF systems. Our team is developing the next generation of space systems architecture, space vehicle systems, and space mission payloads. We would like to hear from you if you have the initiative and qualifications in RF technologyThe Systems Engineering Center (SEC) is seeking strong, technically sound engineering leaders committed and passionate about creating innovative, cost-effective solutions for complex space applications using RF.The successful candidate will be a member of the Space Mission Analysis Department and will provide engineering leadership for full range of systems design, analysis-related, and integration & test in support of RIS space RF programsJob Description:Development of mathematical algorithms for signal processing and calibration, required for phasing multiple emitting subpanels, each with multiple emitting elementsComputer modeling and simulation of phenomenology using near field beacons to determine position and orientation of subpanels relative to radar frameComputer modeling and simulation of phenomenology to calculate Transmit Path Calibration and Receive Path Calibration for every elementDevelopment of algorithms for failed element detection, required such that data can be trended and failed elements can be mapped.Performance predictions & trade studiesWaveform design, optimization, and exploitationTechnical team leadership participating in technical peer reviews throughout the product lifecycle of design, development, integration and test, and flight test requirements verificationDevelop the analysis to predict overall system performance, error margins and performance budgets (link budget).Technical leadership of peer groups, and provides technical mentoring to programs as subject matter expert for RF sensors.Conduct system design reviews, test readiness reviews, and test review boardsSupport the development and flow down of systems requirements, error budget trees, and performance modeling, simulation and analysisRequired Skills:Minimum 10 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in space-based EO/IR systemsKnowledge and experience of digital signal processing, adaptive processing and data processingKnowledge and experience of signal processing techniques, mathematical algorithms, analytic techniques and computer simulationsKnowledge and experience of performance predictions & trade studiesKnowledge and experience of waveform design, optimization, and exploitationKnowledge and experience of sensor operations, calibration, and antenna processingKnowledge and experience of data association and track filtering techniquesKnowledge and experience of clutter and jammer mitigationU.S. Citizenship status is required as this position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance as of Day 1 of EmploymentCurrent and Active Top Secret clearanceDesired Skills:Able to effectively multi-task multiple tasks and priority actionsCurrent and Active TS/SCI ClearanceExperience in Matlab, C, or related languagesExperience in algorithm developmentExperience working with both customer and internal resourcesAble to effectively multi-task multiple tasks and priority actionsWork experience in sensor design, development, integration and testExperience in software development of embedded, real-time complex systemsExperience in hardware and software integration of embedded, real-time complex systemsGraduate level coursework in and/or work experience in digital filtering, linear algebra, stochastic processes, estimation theory, and detection theoryLeadership and communication skillsExperience leading a technical team of System Engineers and AnalystsKnowledge and experience of digital signal processing, adaptive processing and data processingKnowledge and experience of signal processing techniques, mathematical algorithms, analytic techniques and computer simulationsEducation Requirements:Required Education:Bachelors degree in Engineering, Sciences, Math, or related STEM disciplineDesired Education:Masters degree in Engineering, Sciences, Math, or related STEM disciplineU.S. Citizenship Status is requires as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems#ideasinborbit167815Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
