in Livermore, California (San Francisco Bay area) is seeking a Medicaid
Enrollment Specialist to join our team!RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidate will be responsible for the enrollment and credentialing processes for MedicaidEnrollment across the U.S.
Monitors stateMedicaid websites where we are enrolled to ensure websites are reviewed andrelevant changes are documented on a routine basis
UpdatesACH on Medical policy changes that impacts business
UpdatesACH on any reimbursement changes
Worksclosely with Revenue Cycle Management and interprets reimbursement criteria forpayment
InsuresACH meets state Medicaid mandated requirements to maintain licensure
Worksclosely with Regulatory and Audit to collaborate on statewide requirements
Maintainsup-to-date data for each state Medicaid program to ensure timely renewal oflicenses and certifications.
Recordand track credentialing statistics and document the preparation of contract logon a routine basis.
Responsible for the processing of credentialing requirements,maintaining effective credentialing logs and relevant controls, and assistingin the optimization of contractual outcomes.
Ensures that new state enrollments align to pre-definedbusiness requirements.
Ensures timely completion of credentialing andre-credentialing process as defined by each state Medicaid program.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
Minimum of two years State Medicaid Enrollment andCredentialing
Strongbusiness knowledge of State Medicaid programs
Subjectmatter expert of enrollment and provides knowledge and feedback to ensure regulatoryand business needs are addressed
Mustcommunicate effectively with staff, internal department management, therebyrequiring good interpersonal skills, excellent problem- solving skills, soundjudgment, decisiveness,
Initiative,and a teamwork approach
2+ years in a process centric environment, involving multiplestakeholders, deadline driven outcomes, and regularly leading/contributing tocontinuous process improvements (e.g. Reduced cycle time,
Ability to communicate effectively across varying levels ofmanagement in order to address cross-functional process requirements. Comfortable interacting directly withmanagement for purpose of delivering contractual outcomes.
High level of professional curiosity supported by a strongdesire to engage and to be engaged
Tolerance for ambiguity coupled with a proactive approach togetting issues resolved in order to drive results.
